Welcome to one of the South Pacific’s hidden diving gems. Our 2027 group trip takes you to the stunning Fatboys Resort, located in the beautiful Western Province of the Solomon Islands.
Set over crystal-clear tropical waters and surrounded by untouched island scenery, Fatboys Resort offers a unique blend of laid-back island hospitality, incredible diving, and authentic South Pacific adventure. The resort features comfortable overwater and beachfront accommodation, a relaxed restaurant and bar overlooking the lagoon, and an on-site dive centre providing easy access to some of the region’s best dive sites.
The Diving
This trip includes an exciting package of dives exploring the spectacular reefs, walls, channels, and WWII wrecks surrounding Gizo and the nearby islands. The Solomon Islands are renowned for their healthy coral systems, exceptional visibility, and uncrowded dive sites.
Expect vibrant hard and soft corals, huge schools of tropical fish, reef sharks, turtles, eagle rays, barracuda, and an incredible diversity of marine life throughout the region. Many sites remain largely untouched, giving divers the feeling of exploring truly pristine underwater environments.
The area is also rich in WWII history, with opportunities to dive fascinating wartime wrecks and relics scattered throughout the islands — adding another layer of adventure to this unforgettable destination.
